Human's Rights Activists
Instructions.
Students have to prepare a speech about any
famous person who has been important for the Humanity evolution, scientists,
philosophers, writers, engineers, politicians, etc. in Spain or abroad.
Students have to give the name of the person to speak about to the teacher.
Students can’t change the topic without the teacher’s permission.
Presentations must be between 3-5 minutes
long.

Dates are fixed and can’t be
changed (only in exceptional circumstances).

Students must not read or use
notes during the presentation.
·
Students can use ICT and
audivisual material (it will be positively assessed)
The information written below must be
included in every presentation.
A) Background
information about the person.
B) Prizes and
awards if he/she got one for their work or life.
C) Did they work
in any other field for example as an investor, songwriter, etc.?
D) Did they do
any charity work?
Personal opinion of their work- Why did you
choose to talk about this person?

Assesment
criteria
You will be assessed according to the
following points:
Word order- be careful with nouns and
adjectives.
Verbs tenses- make sure you are speaking in
the right tense.
Fluency in speaking- the presentation
should sound natural and not learned “parrot fashion”.
Pronunciation- should be clear.
Coherence- the presentation must have a
clear structure
Quality/ Originality of the presentation-
you effort will be taken into account.
